My Story
Greetings. My name is Mehtap, and I am a German teacher. I hold a degree in German Linguistic Pedagogy from Istanbul University and a degree in German and political science from Technische Universitat in Braunschweig. My primary focus is on helping people who struggle with German-language pronunciation and accent problems and those who want to speak fluent German.
I have worked as a teacher for almost 30 years, and during that time, I have gained experience working with children, adolescents, and families in prevention. My work has also taken me to Europe, where I have supported families to better participate in society. I design projects to improve coexistence and support schools and kindergartens to strengthen integration.
Language is our most important tool as teachers. That's why I have taught people who have moved from their homeland and want to learn German. Every foreigner must have access to the language because it can help them better integrate into society, make friends, find jobs, and access all the opportunities society offers.
I am passionate about my work because I have seen firsthand how the mastery of a language can transform lives. I am dedicated to helping my students develop the skills they need to communicate effectively in German, and I take great pride in watching them succeed.
